A cream, brown and red hand knitted Cowichan style sweater, dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Noted flaws - the zipper has lost its pull, the zip tape is frayed at the very end, which makes it tricky to fasten - it would be a simple job to replace the zipper should you wish to - some faint marking at the centre front and upper right sleeve, some loose yarn ends poking out here and there - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, thick, soft 100% wool, original zipper runs smoothly once fastened, unlined, two hand pockets, excellent quality, pheasant hunting design, perfect for keeping cosy on summer evenings, or as a thick, warm layer in cooler weather, suitable for everyone.
