A cream, brown and red hand knitted Cowichan style sweater, dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Noted flaws - the zipper tape is frayed at the bottom - it still fastens and runs smoothly, however - some marking at the collar fold, some loose yarn ends poking out here and there, two small surface holes at the collar fold - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, thick, soft 100% wool, original zipper runs smoothly once fastened, unlined, two hand pockets, excellent quality, veteran car design, perfect for keeping cosy on summer evenings, or as a thick, warm layer in cooler weather, suitable for everyone.
