An American cream wool varsity sweater, dating from the late ‘50s or early 1960s. Noted flaws - two small holes on the front right shoulder and left lapel, small marks throughout the centre front, the right forearm and back of the collar - please see photos. The bag is perfect as a stand-in for a Swedish Vendel period belt bag. It feels as if the 1930s military version is only a few iterations different. The leather and stitches are amazing. Would have loved the stamp with three crowns but would not be SCA approved, so all is well. Thank you!
