Vintage 1950s 50s Swiss army military salt pepper rucksack backpack leather cotton canvas hiking camping gear

A Swiss army salt and pepper cotton canvas and leather rucksack, dated 1952. Noted flaws - scuffs, marks and scrapes to the leather and canvas throughout, the leather straps for the main flap and lower pocket are quite dry, cracked and brittle, some light coloured marking at the main body area, a series of small frays at the lower left side, the main flap and the lower pocket flap appear to be replacements and are slightly off-colour, the back pad is not original to the bag and is dated 1983 - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, tough salt and pepper canvas body, thick bridle leather straps, removable padded leather back pad, maker’s stamps, very sturdily made, adjustable shoulder straps, outer buckle up pocket, large inner space, weighs 1.5kg empty, measures approximately H20.5” x W17” x D4”
