A French cotton M47 field jacket, dating from the 1950s. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks throughout, frayed damage at the cuff edges, collar fold, hem and lower front right, mismatched replacment hidden buttons, one of the right sleeve cuff buttons is cracked in half - please see photos. Freshly laundered, HBT herringbone cotton twill, button-down shoulder epaulettes, button over cuffs, two button down chest pockets and two bellowed hand pockets, drawstring waist inside, storm flap under the collar, classic French army field jacket, suitable for everyone.
