A French cotton M47 field jacket, dating from the 1950s. Noted flaws - missing the two storm collar buttons, three mismatched replacement hidden placket buttons marked throught the lower third, marking ath te upper right sleeve, some wear to the cuff edges - please see photos. Freshly laundered, herringbone cotton, button down shoulder epaulettes, button over cuffs, two bellowed button down chest pockets and two hand pockets, drawstring waist inside, storm flap under the collar, solidly well made jacket, suitable for everyone.
