Vintage 1940s 40s 1950s 50s Stagway red black wool buffalo plaid CPO shirt jacket hunting shooting 52” chest XL rockabilly

A red and black wool heavyweight shirt/lightweight jacket by US outdoors brand Stagway, dating from the late 1940s or early 1950s. Noted flaws - missing the left cuff button, small seam fray on the top edge of the left chest pocket seam, the satin linings inside the cuffs is damaged in both cuffs - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, freshly laundered, no moth damage, unlined, heavyweight wool, double layer over the back shoulders, great label, two chest pockets, great as a warm layer or a lighter weight jacket, larger size, suitable for men or women. Please note that this item is NOT colourfast, so please wash it separately and by hand! Measurements taken lying flat - Pit to pit - 26” (52” doubled) Shoulders - 21” Arms - 25” Length - 30” Please check your measurements carefully!
