A French pale grey thick briarproof cotton hunting jacket, dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Noted flaws - uneven colour throughout, damage, hand repairs and wear at the collar fold, pocket bases, cuff edges, hem and placket seam, various ingrained marks throughout, particularly at the sleeves, hand repairs at the hem and forearm areas, various areas of wear throughout, mismatched buttons - please see photos. Freshly laundered, thick, tightly-woven briar-proof cotton, two chest pockets, two hand pockets, straight through back pocket, beautifully stitched collar, excellent quality, suitable for everyone.
