A French cotton M38 bourgeron jacket, dating from the late 1930s. Noted flaws - uneven, patchy and faded colour throughout, various ingrained marks throughout, particularly at the cuff and lower centre front areas, area of fraying at the front placket and small surface nicks throughout the sleeves, the original attached belt has been removed - please see photos. Freshly laundered, what appear to be a full set of original buttons, button down epaulettes at the shoulders, the original owner’s name and address is hand written inside, unlined, A-line cut, rounded collars with original hook and eye fastening, two hand pockets, stamped inside as a size 2, solidly well made jacket, great fading, suitable for everyone.
