A pair of French Foreign Legion, pale khaki brown sateen cotton twill sarouel trousers, dating from the 1940s. Noted flaws - light marks at both knees, spot mark at the front left waistband area, the original buckle back fastening has been removed nad belt loops added, small area of surface damage at the back left inner thigh area - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise, freshly laundered, voluminous balloon leg style with pleated drawstring ankle cuffs, straight-down pockets, full set of original Equipment Militaires buttons, faint military stamps inside the cotton waistband, soft sateen-type cotton twill, originally worn by the French Foreign Legion in hot climates, excellent quality, very comfortable to wear, suitable for everyone.

Hips - 23.5” (47” doubled)
Inside leg - 33”
