A French blue cotton fisherman’s smock shirt, dating from the 1930s. Noted flaws - uneven faded colour throughout, small hand repair at the front opening, some frayed wear at the lower left side, various ingrained marks throughout - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, freshly laundered, soft cotton, pop over, great fading, colour and texture, originally worn by sea-going workers, either fishermen or sailors, no labels or stamps, great style, suitable for everyone.
