A French blue cotton fisherman’s smock shirt, dating from the 1930s. Noted flaws - uneven faded colour throughout, various ingrained marks throughout, frayed wear at the base of the collar V, machine repair and frayed wear at the back left sleeve, surface wear at the hem - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, freshly laundered, soft cotton, pop over, great fading, colour and texture, originally worn by sea-going workers, either fishermen or sailors, no labels or stamps, great style, suitable for everyone. None-stretch fabric with no side opening, so please give yourself enough room for getting it on and off when checking your measurements (do this by doing up a none-stretch jacket that fits you well and try getting it on and off without undoing it!)

Measurements taken lying flat -

Pit to pit - 20” (46” doubled)
Shoulders - 18.5”
Arms - 22”
Length - 24.5”

Please check your measurements carefully!
