Vintage Eastman Leather A2 flight jacket - seal brown horsehide - WW2 USAAF - 42" chest

A brown leather A2-style jacket by renowned British brand, Eastman Leather Clothing. Noted flaws - original TAlon zipper is a little tricky to insert, but otherwise runs smoothly and stays fastened, several small holes throughout the knitted cuffs and waistband, various minor scuffs and scrapes to the leather throughout - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise, high quality, supple, heavyweight veg-tanned horsehide leather with a deep, rich colour, handmade in Devon to Gary Eastman’s exacting standards, cotton lining is in very good condition, two hand pockets with press studs, original fastenings under the collar, name badge at the front left chest, non-removable epaulettes, hang loop in the collar, knitted cuffs and waistband are otherwise in good condition with plenty of stretch, pocket bags are intact, press studs all work as they should, great looking, excellent quality A2 style jacket, suitable for everyone.

Gary has painstakingly collected and observed virtually every variation of WW2-era US flight jacket and has been able to faithfully reproduce them to a world-class standard. Smaller size - it fits me (36” chest) perfectly with a t shirt and sweatshirt worn underneath, and would fit someone who measures up to a 38” chest max.
