A green nylon US Navy extreme cold weather deck jacket, dated 1985. Noted flaws - some small marks to the outer shell throughout, uneven colour to the corduroy collar, the inner side of the outer layer has some white marking along the hem (this has been treated with white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide), the foam lining does give it an odour which some might find strong, the zipper runs a little stiff - please see photos. Freshly laundered and well aired inside out, original chunky Scovill zipper, two hand pockets, fully lined in a foam layer for warmth, stencil on the lining, full set of original buttons, chin strap under the collar and a grab strap under the collar at the back, knitted inner cuffs in good condition, excellent quality, originally made for keeping out the weather while on deck at sea, so perfect as a warm, weatherproof outer layer, suitable for everyone.
