A Swiss army salt and pepper cotton canvas and leather rucksack, dated 1962. Noted flaws - scuffs, marks and scrapes to the leather and canvas throughout, the leather straps have a reas of drying and wear and need to be oiled regularly to keep them in good condition, some marking at the main body area, a series of small frays at the lower left side, the cotton inner flap is heavily marked (this can be removed without affecting the use of the bag), missing the right hand buckle at the top of the straps where it connects to the top of the bag - this might affect use with heavier items and a rivet or replacement buckle could be attached - it shouldnt’ affect regular use - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, tough salt and pepper canvas body, thick bridle leather straps nad base, webbing back support, maker’s stamps, very sturdily made, adjustable shoulder straps, outer buckle up pocket, large inner space, weighs 2.8kg empty, perfect for camping or everyday use etc., suitable for everyone.
