A black leather motorcycle jacket by Lewis Leathers’ Aviakit line, dating from the late 1960s. Noted flaws - well-worn for its original use as a motorcycle jacket, many teeth on the main zipper are missing - the original Lightning zipper pull is still present and moves, but it can no longer be fastened, surface damage over the upper arms, collar fold and shoulders, professional patched repairs at the back left shoulder, attached belt and both forearms have been replaced, marking and wear to the lining, the original sleeve linings have been professionally replaced with gold satin, removed patch at the front right chest, leaving pin prick holes - please see photos. Thick, supple leather, ball and chain pocket zips all present and run smoothly, lined in red nylon, made in England, all seams are solid, great patches and badges, attached belt, original 1968 garage receipts for motorcycle work in the chest pocket, classic Lewis Leathers biker jacket, weighs over 2kg, suitable for everyone.
