A French brown, tough cotton canvas sou’wester-style railway worker’s hat, dating from the 1960s. Noted flaws - uneven colour fading throughout, some surface wear and fraying at the edges of the brim - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, cotton tag and hang loop inside, double layered four panel crown with wide brim, thick, weatherproof duck cotton canvas, ties attached inside, longer at the back to allow water to run off away from the neck, can be worn with the brim turned up, perfect for wet weather, suitable for everyone.

Back brim - 4.4”/11.5cm
