A green PVC foul weather smock by classic British workwear and outerwear brand, Yarmouth Oilskins, dating from the mid-1960s. Excellent, unworn, deadstock condition throughout, the PVC fabric is still slightly oily and supple, Newey press studs all work as they should, drawstring waist and attached hood, cutter’s tag in the hem, green Yarmouth Oilskins label in the collar, elasticated cuffs still have stretch, zippered lower pocket and collar, air holes under the arms, all seams are solid, original paper label in the bag, this item has never been worn and only ever unwrapped to be photographed and measured. It was part of a shop liquidation in the 1960s, put into storage and hasn’t been touched until now. A rare and collectible piece of British-made workwear; Yarmouth Oilskins are still manufacturing in Britain today and have been making high quality British workwear for well over 100 years.
