A French black leather firefighter’s jacket, dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Noted flaws - scuffs, scrapes and uneven colour to the leather throughout, some minor surface wear to the wool collar, some creasing at the pocket entry areas, small puncture hole at the lower left sleeve - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, thick but supple chrome tanned leather, storm collar, midnight blue wool facing at the collar, with the fire service patches, two hand pockets, pocket bags intact, lined in red and cream acrylic plaid, full set of original buttons, excellent quality, suitable for everyone. Weighs well over 2kg - buyers from outside the UK, please get in touch for an accurate postage quote!
