A sage green US Air Force MA-1 jacket dating from the late 1950s. Noted flaws - the original Conmar zipper runs, but is stiff, extensive damage to all the knitted parts, ingrained marking throughout, particularly at the cuffs, front chest and lower front, small fray at the back left sleeve - please see photos. This is the third version of the US Air Force MA-1 jacket with the spec number MIL-J-8279B and dated 1958, green lining, made by Cab Clothing Co. Inc., Scovill main zipper with original leather pull, snap buttons pockets, wool lining, Scovill arm pocket zipper runs smoothly, fully legible contract tag in the collar, by no means in mint condition, but an original 1950s third version of a classic flight jacket, wearable as is, or have the knitwear replaced for a neater look, suitable for everyone.

Pit to pit (allowing for the thick lining) - 21.5" (43" doubled)

Arms - 25"
Length - 21.5"
