A Swiss army salt and pepper cotton canvas and leather rucksack, dated 1954. Noted flaws - scuffs, marks and scrapes to the leather and canvas throughout, the leather straps have cracking and wear in areas and will need regular oiling to keep them in good condition, the original cotton inner flap has been cut out, some of the seams have been resewn, small machine repair at the lower back right, small fray at hte front pocket corner, some blue paint spots throughout, handwriting inside the main flap, missing the original back pad - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, tough salt and pepper canvas body, thick bridle leather straps and base, webbing back support, maker’s stamps, very sturdily made, adjustable shoulder straps, outer buckle up pocket, large inner space, weighs 2.5kg empty, perfect for camping, day to day use etc., suitable for everyone.
