Vintage 1950s Swedish Livpäls sheepskin coat - military greatcoat - 48” chest

A Swedish military sage green cotton canvas and sheepskin Livpäls coat, dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks throughout, particularly at the cuff and forearm areas, uneven colour throughout, some marking below the left hand pocket, some of the buttons have been resewn in a contrasting thread colour, missing one of the storm collar buttons from underneath the collar - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, supple sheepskin lining with natural colour variations is in good condition, often incorrectly referred to as a M-1909 coat, Swedish military stamps inside, all other original buttons are present, button-up chest strap, two large button-up hand pockets, lined in thick sheepskin, sleeves are lined in quilted cotton, large mouton storm collar, triple crown stamp (these were used post-1942), stamped as a size 1, excellent quality, suitable for everyone, weighs well over 4kg, please allow for any layers you may wear when checking your measurements.
