A pair of very deep brown waxed cotton Barbour International trousers, dating from the early-mid 1950s. Noted flaws - frayed wear at the inner waistband area, the left side zipper has some hand stitching at the base to keep the zip pull from coming off, the elasticated waistband has lost its stretch, some scuffing at the left knee, small white mark at the front left hip area, very heavily waxed and well used for their original use - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, sought-after 1950s green and white Barbour label, lined in checked cotton, ‘7’ zippers run smoothly, buckle and Newey press stud fastenings at the ankles, double lined at the seat, ankles and inner knees, perfect for vintage motorcycle riders, suitable for everyone.
