A French salt and pepper grey work coat by classic workwear brand Vetra, dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Noted flaws - distressed condition with faded colour throughout, various ingrained marks throughout, various hand repairs throughout, including at the pocket bases, armpit and cuff seams and a lower centre front at the hem, areas of frayed damage throughout, particularly at the placket seams, collar fold, cuffs and hem, mismatched buttons - please see photos. Freshly laundered and pressed, large D hand pockets, single chest pocket, attached back belt, single vent at the back, thick cotton, great selvedge detail inside, classic long French work coat, traditionally worn by shopkeepers and traders, factory machinists and other craftspeople, suitable for everyone.
