A US navy khaki green rubberised cotton foul weather parka, dating from the early-mid 1940s. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks throughout, with some darker marking at both sleeves, the glue residue has darkened over time at the seams, verdigris residue at the clasps, missing the original contract tag - please see photos. Original military item, supple rubberised cotton fabric, 13 star buttons at the cuffs, drawstring hood and hem with what appears to be the original laces, non-removable hood with ear flaps, button-over cuffs, clear and legible contract tag in the lower back seam, four metal clasps at the collar all work smoothly as they should and are solid in the fabric, riveted air vents under the armpits, generally a good condition WW2 example considering its age, suitable for everyone.
