A very deep blue wool US Navy pea coat, dating from the early-mid 1940s. Noted flaws - it was found with a significant amount of light coloured fibres attached - I have done my best to remove these, but some may still remain, areas of surface wear at the centre front at the collar and at the front left chest, small hole at the back right side, missing the uppermost left button, missing the original contract tag, damage and repairs throughout the lining, including a seam split in the right armhole, hand stitching to the buttonholes - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, supple wool, two hand pockets, corduroy pocket bags intact, lined in satin, stamped inside, excellent quality, classic US navy pea coat, weighs over 2kg, suitable for everyone.
