A vibrant red wool mackinaw jacket with black stripes by Hudson’s Bay, dating from the 1940s or early 1950s. Noted flaws - the satin collar has frayed away from the collar seam and the satin then hand stitched to the flannel backing, some light piling throughout, some light wear at the elbows, wear to the leather at the belt buckle - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise, full set of original buttons, original belt, soft, supple wool, lined in the collar and sleeves, unlined otherwise, four point blanket, two hand pockets, two lower pockets, button-over cuff straps, classic Hudson’s Bay design, excellent quality, suitable for everyone. Weighs well over 2kg.
