A mid-brown cotton canvas hunting jacket by Red Head, dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Noted flaws - ingrained marking at the lower centre front and inside the inner game pocket, the rubberised lining has become stuck to the other layer of the coat; it can be pulled apart, but the fabric is stiffer than it should be, replacement buttons, missing the lowermost button - please see photos. Good condition otherwise, corduroy collar, double chest pocket, lower hand pockets plus cartridge pockets, straight through back pocket, duck patch at the left sleeve, great label, double lined throughout, classic American hunting jacket, excellent quality, tough, weatherproof fabric, suitable for everyone.
