A pair of French blue cotton twill work trousers, dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s by classic workwear brand, Le Mont St Michel. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks and uneven faded colour throughout, roughly added tool pocket at the right outer thigh, wear and damage at the pocket entries, damage and hand repairs to both pocket bags, small hole in the left pocket bag, surface wear at the ankle cuffs - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, freshly laundered, great label from a sought-after brand, lovely textured cotton with a loom chatter at the back, two hand pockets, thick, good quality cotton, full set of riveted fly and suspender buttons, buckle back with original pronged buckle, great style, suitable for everyone.
