A French brown leather cyclist jacket, dating from the mid/late 1930s or early 1940s. Noted flaws - the main zipper appears to be a period replacement, wear at the collar fold, various scuffs, nicks, creasing and scrapes to the leather throughout, wear and damage at the cuff edges, the right hand cuff press stud won’t fasten, some areas of surface wear and marking throughout the lining, the ends of the waist tabs are replacements, the leather is dry in places and it will require regular oiling to keep it in good condition - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, all other ball-shaped press studs work as they should, two chest pockets with original zippers, all zippers run smoothly and stay fastened, original lining, collar appears to be original and the upper side is a short velours-type fabric, classic original French cyclist jacket, suitable for everyone.

I am a 36” chest and it fits me well with enough room for it to be a comfortable fit. It should fit someone who measures up to a 38”/39” chest max.
