A khaki green linen and horsehide leather Swedish army rucksack, dated 1915. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks to the linen throughout, small fray at the lower left, various scuffs, scrapes and wear to the leather throughout, some areas of the leather straps are quite dry and will need regular oiling to keep them supple, marking to the inner section, stitching from one of the leather bands to keep the straps in place has come away at one side, the leather at the lower back has been bent out of shape during storage - please see photos. Great condition otherwise, linen outer, various compartments inside with original twine and button-in sections, various straps to attach equipment to the outside, all fixtures and fittings appear to be original, a real piece of useable history, weighs 2.4kg empty.

Measures approximately L13”/33cm x D4”/10cm x W13”/33cm

Please note that this rucksack is over 100 years old; it would be useable with care, but like any antique, it should be checked and maintained regularly.
