A pair of French white herringbone cotton trousers, dating from the early 20th century. Noted flaws - various areas of ingrained marks throughout, particularly at the waistband area, outer right thigh area, back left seat and throughout the lower legs, the buttons are replacements - please see photos. Freshly laundered and pressed, two hand pockets, small change pocket, beautifully textured fabric, military stamp at the outer right waistband, handwritten name inside, v notch and original pronged buckle back fastening at the back, excellent quality, suitable for everyone.
These trousers would have accompanied the classic French bourgeron jackets during the early 1900s-WW1 period.
