A French cotton M47 field jacket, dating from the early 1950s. Noted flaws - several small dark spot marks throughout, a series of frayed holes at the centre back, some minor wear and marking at the collar fold - please see photos. Full set of original buttons, freshly laundered, shoulder epaulettes, button over cuffs, two button down chest pockets and two bellowed hand pockets, drawstring waist inside, storm flap under the collar, solidly, well made jacket, great as a layer or a lightweight cotton jacket, suitable for everyone.
