A deep red/burgundy shadow plaid wool dressing gown by classic US brand Pendleton, dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Noted flaws - three small holes at the centre front left waistband and thigh area, some loose thread (seam is intact) at the left armpit - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise, 1930s/‘40s-era label in the collar, 100% wool, made in USA, original belt, satin-lined fold-back cuffs with original decorative buttons, lightweight shadow plaid, beautifully rounded pockets, excellent quality, classic style, suitable for everyone.
