A Swedish military ‘mattornist’ cotton cross body bag, dated 1914 and reissued in 1915. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks and signs of use throughout, some surface fraying at the main flap where the print comes through, missing the original button-in inner pocket - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise, thick woven cotton with a beautiful texture, adjustable shoulder strap, loop for wearing on a belt, fastens by straps buttoning on to zinc buttons, great stamp, perfect for collectors, LARP and reenactment events or everyday use, original WW1-era item, not a reproduction, suitable for everyone.
